We were chuffed to be launching the first regular steam train service in modern history out of Waterloo station earlier in April.

The steam locomotive Mayflower and vintage carriages arrived into Platform 19, Waterloo Station, London on Tuesday 9th April 2019 with canapés and drinks served in Pullman Style Dining carriages. We welcomed journalists, bloggers and TV channels ITV, BBC London and London Live – you may have caught them interviewing Marcus or Claire – or having a tour of the brilliant Mayflower engine!

This summer, The Steam Dreams Rail Co. will launch The Royal Windsor Steam Express, the first regular steam train service in modern history from London Waterloo to Windsor. The company is also launching the The Sunset Steam Express, a sunset dining experience through the picturesque Surrey Hills. Both trips will run from 4th June to 3rd September 2019.
